About Us

Our Mission

To create an immersive skin and body care line that encourages natural self-healing.

Vision Statement

Alki is focused on creating and offering products that are genuinely effective, provide relief, and allow relaxation to those who are otherwise burdened with chronic discomfort (or just need a little self-love).

Alki caters to people who are casually active and prefer natural remedies instead of manufactured pharmaceuticals.

With every purchase, a percentage of the profit will go towards a cause and organization that we care deeply about and that also creates tangible impact within our communities.

Nonprofit & Foundation Partners

The Last Prisoner Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to criminal justice reform. LPP was founded out of the belief that if anyone is able to profit and build wealth in the legal cannabis industry, those individuals must also work to release and rebuild the lives of those who have suffered from cannabis criminalization.

Currently, for every purchase made (with the exception of our Blood Orange & Lilac Bath Bomb), Alki will donate $2 to LPP. Our goal is to expand this donation amount as our operation grows!

The Love Her Period Foundation is committed to Every Part of Every Woman.

Believing all who menstruate should experience their periods with dignity and care, having easy access to clean and safe products. The mission is to raise $3.9 Billion to end period poverty.

‘Period Poverty’ is defined as inadequate access to menstrual hygiene tools and education, including but not limited to sanitary products, washing facilities, and waste management.

In partnership with ALKI, $2 from each sale of Blood Orange & Lilac 200mg CBD Bath Bomb will go directly to addressing the needs of women and girls regarding period poverty.

We Unite To Provide Personal Care Resources To Support The Health And Well-Being Of Our Worldwide Community.

Alki was born both out of a desire to help others while also creating more natural and holistic remedies and products for the body.

Alki (al-kye) is the unofficial state motto of Washington, which roughly translates to “into the future” . Alex was born and grew up in Washington and has close ties to Puget Sound. Alki is a place that she knows, loves, and frequents. It only felt right to name the company as such and to give homage to a place she calls home.

Alki strives to be sustainable, wherever feasible within our brand. But we recognize that we are a consumer product so saying “we are 100% sustainable” isn’t really keeping it 100 with the Alki family.

As Alki continues to grow, we will focus on improving processes in our operations to be more efficient. We will also be sure to only use packaging that is recyclable and/or biodegradable. Currently, our mailers & packaging are recyclable. Our bath bombs are wrapped in a biolefin shrink-wrap, which is biodegradable when properly composted. Breakdown is completed within 2-3 years.

Ingredient Information

Sodium Bicarbonate & Citric Acid: Otherwise known as baking soda and Vitamin C. These two ingredients combined create the “fizzy” effect of a bath bomb.

Epsom Salt: Epsom salt baths can help soften rough or dry skin and can exfoliate dead skin cells. It also aids in reducing soreness & pain.

Corn Starch: Corn starch manages the fizzing reaction of the ingredients; so if you drop your bath bomb in the water, it will not “explode”!

Sunflower Oil: Sunflower oil is a non-comedogenic carrier oil which is highly absorbent. In short: sunflower oil won’t clog your pores. Additionally, it is non-irritating for most people and can be used on all skin types.

Water: What scientists refer to as H20.

Organic Hemp-Derived Cannabidiol (CBD): CBD is a naturally occurring & non-intoxicating cannabinoid (chemical compound) found in both hemp and cannabis plants.

Aromatherapy Oils: Aromatherapy is simply the combination of essential oils for therapeutic benefit. When inhaled, the molecules in essential oils work their way from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and can positively impact the amygdala, which is the emotional center of the brain.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA): SLSa is derived from coconut and palm oils. SLSa is safe and skin-friendly.

Mica Powder: The biggest benefit of mica is its ability to create a natural shimmery finish, since it can be milled to a fine powder. It is naturally produced and safe to use on almost all skin types.

Polysorbate 80: A vegetable-sourced emulsifier that is skin-safe. Polysorbate 80 helps ingredients mix throughout the water instead of separating, which will make your bath bomb experience even better!
